＊About Teacher Nagisa.＊
I am a specialist in early childhood education with experience teaching children with developmental disabilities. Currently, I teach Japanese online to both children and adults while studying at university to earn my Japanese teaching certification.
I truly love working with children and always teach with a smile and positive encouragement. Many parents have told me that their children started studying independently after taking my lessons. My adult students often say that I am kind and great at giving praise, which helps them feel motivated and confident.
I am patient and always make an effort to notice each student’s strengths. Because of this, my students look forward to lessons and attend regularly without missing a class.
In addition to teaching language, I share my knowledge of Japanese culture, as I have experience in ikebana (flower arrangement) and tea ceremony. I also enjoy anime—some of my recent favorites are Dandadan, Delicious in Dungeon, and Violet Evergarden.
Whether you are a child who finds it hard to sit still, someone who has struggled with Japanese, or even lost motivation, I will help you enjoy learning Japanese in a fun and supportive way.

I teach reading and writing starting from hiragana and katakana, all the way to kanji. In my lessons, I use hand games, songs, and vocabulary activities to make learning fun. For pronunciation practice, we read aloud books and articles that match the student’s interests.
As an early childhood education specialist, I understand how to keep young learners engaged. I include games and dancing when their focus starts to fade, so even a 7-year-old can enjoy a full 60-minute lesson without getting bored.
For adults, I start by discussing your goals and setting a clear plan, so there is no wasted effort. I create customized materials tailored to your needs, focusing on conversation while also preparing you for the JLPT (N5 to N1), including kanji and test strategies. I also use interactive game-based activities to keep adults motivated and having fun.
Since I speak conversational English, I can teach using both the direct method (in Japanese only) and the indirect method (with English support) depending on your preference.
