Stuart について
I am currently an associate professor at a National University in Japan. I have taught English for a total of 12 years and teriary level ESL for 9 years.
I have a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, which focused on vocabulary. Through my experience teaching and academic knowledge on English, I believe I can help you improve your English.
In addition to teaching English, I have pubished numerous academic articles about vocabulary and learning strategies. I read numerous academic articles so I know the best methods to teach English.
My hobbies are sports. I am from New Zealand, so I LOVE rugby!

I use a variety of activites to focus on the four skills (Listening, reading, writing, speaking). In addition, I focus on learning strategies so you can continue to learn the language outside of the lesson. I will choose strategies that are important for you, and have lots of research to show they are the best language learning strategies.
I beleive vocabulary is the most important aspect of language. Without vocabulary, you cannot communicate. Therefore, my lessons will focus on the most important vocabulary in English. We will focus on learning and using these words in the 4 skills.
My lessons are for beginners, all the way to advanced-level students.
