I started taking Japanese lessons with Hiroko san on another platform because I wanted to learn hiragana and katakana before my trip to Japan.

I was a complete beginner, but Hiroko-san was always very kind and patient with me. She explained things in a way that was easy to understand and never got tired of teaching me, even when I made the same mistakes many times.

I could feel my Japanese getting better with every lesson, and that made me really happy and motivated to keep learning!

She also taught me some kanji that I often see in Japanese cities, not just hiragana and katakana. Thanks to her, I could recognize words like 「駅」(station) when I was traveling around Japan. It was such a great feeling when I realized, “I can actually read this!”

I’m very thankful to Hiroko san for helping me prepare for my trip and making learning Japanese so much fun. I hope I can continue improving my Japanese and understand even more when I visit Japan again!
