Hi there! I’m Isaiah. I recently made the big move from Australia to Gifu with my wife and family. We’ve decided to make Japan our permanent home, and I couldn't be more excited to settle down here. My wife is Japanese, and being part of a Japanese family has given me a deep appreciation for the culture. In fact, I’m currently a student myself—working hard to learn the Japanese language and understand the local way of life. I know exactly how challenging it can be to navigate a new language and culture, so I really empathize with the journey you are on!
Back in New Zealand and Australia, I spent over a decade managing large teams and six years working in Learning and Development (L&D). Now, I’m running my own business, Isaiah Fong Learning Solutions, where I help companies design better ways to learn. While I’m getting my business off the ground, I want to use my experience to help professionals right here in Japan. Because I’ve led teams in Western boardrooms, I can give you the real-world tools and terminology you need to feel like a pro. Think of me as a coach and a partner who is cheering you on every step of the way. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
皆さん、こんにちは！アイザイアです。最近、妻と家族と一緒にオーストラリアから岐阜県に引っ越してきました。私たちは日本を「ずっと住む場所」と決め、ここでの新しい生活をとても楽しみにしています。私の妻は日本人で、日本人の家族の一員として過ごす中で、日本の文化を深く尊敬するようになりました。実は私自身も現在、日本語を一生懸命勉強しており、日本の生活習慣や文化を学んでいる「生徒」でもあります。 新しい言語や文化を習得することの大変さを身をもって感じているので、受講者の皆さんの気持ちには深く共感できます。
ニュージーランドとオーストラリアでは、10年以上にわたって大きなチームのマネジメントに携わり、6年間は教育開発（L&D）の専門家として働いてきました。現在は、自身の会社「Isaiah Fong Learning Solutions」を運営しています。日本でビジネスを育てていく一方で、これまでの経験を活かして、地元の皆さんの力になりたいと思っています。欧米のビジネス現場でチームを率いてきた経験をもとに、皆さんが自信を持って英語で活躍できるような、実践的なツールや表現をお伝えします。皆さんの挑戦を全力で応援するパートナーとして、お会いできるのを楽しみにしています！

My lessons are free-form and conversation-based, moving away from rigid textbooks to focus on authentic scenarios. We explore the natural language used daily in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, and the UK. We will analyze how these business environments differ from the Japanese corporate world, covering what is acceptable, what is expected of you, and how to navigate professional social norms with confidence.
