Hello! My name is Ayca, and I’m a native Turkish speaker and an English teacher with an M.A. in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
I have more than 10 years of teaching experience at the university level in Turkey, and I currently teach English at an international preschool in Japan. Working with both children and adults has helped me understand that every learner is unique, so I always adapt my lessons to each student’s goals and learning style.
I enjoy creating a positive, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning languages, exploring different cultures, cooking, and spending time with my family. As someone who has experienced learning foreign languages myself, I understand both the challenges and the excitement of the learning process.
I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals!

Every student has different goals, so I design each lesson according to your needs, interests, and learning style.
For adults, lessons can focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, travel, business English, or improving confidence in everyday communication. I use real-life situations and interactive activities to help you use English naturally.
For children, I create fun and engaging lessons using phonics, games, songs, stories, and age-appropriate activities to build strong language skills and confidence.
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, my goal is to help you make steady progress in a relaxed, supportive, and encouraging environment. Together, we’ll develop the skills you need to communicate with confidence.
