湯淺さんについて
Hi! I’m Honoka, a native Japanese speaker from Japan.
Although I’m new to teaching Japanese professionally, I have always enjoyed communicating with people from different cultures. I studied English at university and achieved a TOEIC score of 880, so I understand both the excitement and the challenges of learning a new language.
Because I learned English myself, I know how important it is to have a patient and encouraging teacher. My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment where you can speak with confidence and never feel afraid of making mistakes.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for a trip to Japan, or simply want to improve your conversation skills, I’ll tailor each lesson to your goals and interests. We can practice everyday Japanese, pronunciation, grammar, or just have fun conversations about Japanese culture, food, travel, anime, or anything you enjoy.
I believe language learning should be practical, enjoyable, and stress-free. I’ll support you every step of the way and celebrate your progress with you.

Do you want to speak real Japanese instead of only learning from textbooks? Then you’re in the right place! My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and conversation-based. You don’t need perfect grammar, and you don’t need to worry about making mistakes. In fact, broken Japanese is always welcome! That’s how we learn. We’ll practice the Japanese that people actually use in everyday life. We can talk about food, travel, anime, games, music, work, relationships, Japanese culture, or anything you’re interested in. If you don’t know a word, don’t worry! You can mix English and Japanese, and I’ll help you express yourself naturally.
I understand how challenging it can be to learn another language. My goal is to make every lesson feel like chatting with a Japanese friend rather than sitting in a classroom. Of course, if you want to learn grammar or pronunciation, I can help with that too. However, my main focus is helping you build confidence and enjoy speaking Japanese in real-life situations.
