Hi! I'm Yuki, a native Japanese speaker and experienced Japanese tutor from Japan.
I've been teaching Japanese for over 1 year and have taught more than 500 lessons, mainly helping complete beginners and students who are starting Japanese from zero.
Through my teaching experience, I've helped students build a strong foundation in Japanese grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. I especially enjoy teaching beginners because I know how important it is to have a teacher who can explain things clearly and make learning Japanese feel less intimidating.
I mainly use the Genki textbook in my lessons, while also focusing on practical Japanese and speaking practice. I can explain difficult concepts in English when necessary, so you don't need to worry if you're completely new to Japanese.
Whether you want to learn Japanese for travel, everyday conversation, anime and manga, or the JLPT, I'll help you learn at your own pace in a friendly, relaxed, and supportive environment.

My lessons are designed especially for complete beginners and students who want to build a strong foundation in Japanese.
I mainly use the Genki textbook and focus on understanding grammar and actually using it in conversation.
A typical lesson includes:
・Learning new grammar and vocabulary
・Building your own Japanese sentences
・Practicing conversations using what you learned
・Reviewing previous lessons
・Learning useful, natural Japanese expressions
For beginners, we can start from hiragana and katakana and gradually move on to grammar and conversation.
I can also explain difficult points in English when necessary, so you don't have to worry about getting completely lost.
My goal is not just to help you memorize Japanese, but to help you understand how Japanese works and feel comfortable using it yourself.
Whether you're learning Japanese for travel, anime, everyday conversation, or the JLPT, I'll adjust the lessons to your goals and learning pace.
