Hi! I’m Mai.
I’m a native Japanese speaker from Osaka, Japan.️
I have experience teaching at both a tutoring school and an English conversation school, where I tailored my lessons to each student’s individual needs and learning style.
I always aim to create lessons that are easy to understand, enjoyable, and comfortable, so you can feel relaxed and confident when speaking Japanese.
I can also communicate in English, so complete beginners are more than welcome! If there’s anything you don’t understand,
I can explain and support you in English whenever needed.
One of my biggest passions is traveling. I’ve traveled to many countries and love experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and discovering different ways of life.
Through my own experiences abroad, I know both the excitement of realizing, “Wow, they understood me!” and the frustration of thinking, “I know what I want to say, but I can’t find the right words…” That’s why I want to create a friendly and relaxed environment where you can speak Japanese without worrying about making mistakes.
Whether you want to practice everyday conversation, learn useful Japanese for traveling or living in Japan, sound more natural, or simply enjoy free conversation, I’ll tailor each lesson to your goals and interests.
My goal is for you to leave each lesson thinking:
“Speaking Japanese is fun!”
“I want to speak even more Japanese!”
