- About me
Hello! I’m a Japanese teacher from Tokyo, currently studying architecture at the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo.
I love traveling and connecting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I’ve visited countries such as the US, the UK, and Switzerland, and I also studied abroad in the UK. So, I can support you in English as well
I’m also a big fan of anime and manga. Some of my favorites include Attack on Titan, Code Geass, Steins;Gate, Frieren, and Jujutsu Kaisen. I’d love to hear about your favorites during our lessons!

I have a year of experience teaching English to junior and high school students in Japan. I hope this experience helps in teaching Japanese as well!
Since I speak English, Our lessons can be in either Japanese or English—whichever you prefer!
Having studied English myself, I know how challenging learning a new language can be. But I also know how incredibly fun and rewarding it is!
I will do my best to make sure you truly enjoy your journey of learning Japanese!

-About my lessons
I tailor my lessons to each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. My teaching style is flexible and student-centered, so I adjust each lesson based on what you want to focus on, whether that is grammar, vocabulary, daily conversation, or JLPT preparation.
I mainly use Genki as a foundation to help you build your Japanese step by step, and I also create conversation practice based on your interests. I can teach students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, and because I speak English, I can explain difficult points in English when needed.
If you enjoy anime or manga, I can also use lines and expressions from them to help you learn grammar, vocabulary, and natural Japanese in a fun and engaging way.

I met Taro on another platform. He is calm, friendly, and explains things clearly according to the student’s level and goals.
What I especially appreciate about his teaching is that he makes difficult points easy to understand step by step. Since he can also support students in English, beginners can feel comfortable asking questions.
