My teaching philosophy is that every student can learn Japanese with the right guidance, patience, and consistent practice. As someone currently studying Japanese in Japan, I understand the challenges beginners face because I have experienced them myself. This allows me to explain concepts in a simple and practical way that is easy to understand.
My lessons are designed specifically for complete beginners and students preparing for the JLPT N5 level. I use a step-by-step teaching approach, starting with Hiragana and Katakana, followed by essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday conversation. Each lesson includes revision, speaking practice, reading exercises, and interactive activities to help students build confidence and remember what they learn.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of the previous class, followed by introducing new grammar and vocabulary. Students then practice through reading, listening, and conversation exercises before receiving simple homework to reinforce their learning. I also adapt my teaching style according to each student's pace and learning goals.
My greatest strengths as a tutor are patience, clear explanations, and a supportive teaching environment. I encourage students to ask questions freely and never worry about making mistakes, because mistakes are an important part of learning a new language.
