The type of students which are suitable are the ones with open minds and patience. Constant repetition and plenty of discussion is encouraged. We are all here to learn so keep your spirits up and have faith! :)
At first I have learned Taekwondo for eight years, teaching as a senior within my class for the latter four years at the age of 12-16. This was extended to my experience of helping my younger brother who is eleven years younger than me. As he developed his education from primary education to high school, I have been very familiar with the curriculum and standards of the English education. Quite often due to my own education I had to move out of home and help him remotely, whether that be through vocal communication by phone or constant emails with him adjusting and fixing his essays and reports throughout the years.
This constant exposure to teaching extends further as I trained to become a swimming instructor in 2012. I taught swimming for 5 years, familiarising myself with predominantly teaching age groups 4 ~ 16 years of age, with the occasional class helping middle aged adults to learn or progress their aquatic education.
I feel throughout all these years of teaching, that the most important aspect of a happy student and teacher understands where mentor and mentee are coming from. Quite often I find the best way to understand this from a teacher’s perspective is that I genuinely want to help. I understand the responsibility of what it takes to be a teacher and would love to share this experience with you. I enjoy the arts, architecture, street photography, whisky and generally just having fun! I hope I can be of efficient assistance to you.
I am flexible with pricing. And entirely negotiable at request.
