I take my role as a Japanese tutor very seriously and always prepare each lesson with my student’s goals in mind.
Through my experience as a professional guide for international visitors, I have learned how important clear communication, patience, and trust are. I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating, especially at the beginning, so I make sure my lessons are structured, supportive, and easy to follow.
I carefully listen to my students, adjust the pace to their level, and explain not only how Japanese works, but also why expressions are used in real life. My goal is to help students feel confident, motivated, and supported at every step of their learning journey.

My approach as a tutor starts with listening. Before anything else, I take time to understand why you want to learn Japanese — whether it’s for traveling in Japan, enjoying anime and dramas, making Japanese friends, or communicating more naturally in daily life. Based on your goals, I design each lesson specifically for you and adjust it as your confidence grows.
Rather than one-way teaching, my lessons are highly interactive and conversation-focused. I encourage students to speak as much as possible, because real progress happens through use, not memorization. Making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning, so I create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can express yourself freely without fear.
As a native speaker and professional guide, I also place strong emphasis on cultural context and natural nuance. I explain not only what to say, but why Japanese people say things in certain ways — including etiquette, cultural background, and modern expressions — so you can communicate more naturally and confidently.
Having guided people from many different countries, I am used to adjusting my explanations to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
For beginners, I use clear explanations along with visual materials such as slides and images to make Japanese easy to understand step by step. My role is not just to teach words and grammar, but to guide you through your Japanese learning journey in a structured, enjoyable, and meaningful way.
