IRINAさんについて
I am native speaker of Russian, and a fluent English speaker. I have a background in Film Studies (that's my MA) and Computer Science (my BA). I have more than 10 years of teaching experience.
I will be happy to teach you my native language and share the love I feel for it. I plan the lessons so that they fit your needs.
I also make sure that you not only learn, but enjoy the experience. Relaxed and enjoyable learning is what makes studying most effective.
I have broad experience in learning foreign languages (I speak Russian, Ukrainian, English, French, and Spanish, and I am now learning German!), which helps me teach them.

In my classes, I will give you:
• a communicative, dialogue-based method that my students find highly effective;
• an understanding of Russian grammar without overloading you with unnecessary details (only upon request; see the next section :));
• a deep dive into Russian grammar if you need it for academic purposes or simply love grammar as much as I do;
• a thorough understanding of basic Russian phrases;
• vocabulary you will need in everyday life in Russian-speaking countries;
• an introduction to Russian culture (literature, history of Russian art, and cinema).

For classes, I use textbooks and other resources used in major English-speaking universities in the US and the UK where Russian is taught and studied, as well as textbooks written in Russia.

I have been learning Russian for almost two years now, and I highly recommend her! Perfect combination of communication practice and grammar exercises. If you are interested in Russian films and literature, Irina is a perfect teacher for you.
Irina has been absolutely lovely - she is very patient and always finds a way to make the lesson interesting! My Russian has improved massively since having lessons with her and she has really helped me enjoy learning the language.
I started learning Russian with Irina around 6 months ago now. She is an excellent teacher; flexible, accommodating, and adaptive to a learning style that suits me.
