• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I love the French language. From a young age, I was captivated by the allure of French language and culture, an enchantment that only grew stronger over time. As a native French speaker, I'm thrilled to share the beauty and depth of this language with others, igniting a passion for learning and exploration. Simultaneously, my journey in music, particularly as a certified piano teacher from a prestigious music school, has been equally exhilarating. My love for both disciplines stems from a desire to inspire and empower students to discover new horizons of expression and creativity.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  What fuels my passion for teaching French and piano is the transformative power they hold. The French language is not just a means of communication but a gateway to a world of literature, art, and culture. Similarly, the piano transcends mere notes, offering a canvas for emotional expression and personal growth. I am deeply committed to guiding my students on these enriching journeys, empowering them to unlock their full potential and achieve their goals.

• What do you like about tutoring? What sets you apart as a teacher ?

  Tutoring is more than just imparting knowledge; it's about fostering meaningful connections and nurturing individual growth. What sets me apart as a teacher is my unwavering dedication to providing personalized and engaging learning experiences. Whether it's mastering French grammar or perfecting piano technique, I tailor my approach to each student's unique needs and aspirations. My goal is not only to teach but to inspire, instilling a lifelong love for learning in every student I mentor. • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  Growing up, I was fortunate to have several inspiring teachers who left a lasting impact on me, both as a French student and as a budding musician. Some particular role models were two of my high school French teachers. They had an exceptional ability to make the French language come alive through her passionate storytelling and immersive teaching methods. A lot of my teachers at university also impact my teaching methods a lot.
  Similarly, one of my piano teachers plays a pivotal role in shaping my musical journey. He always emphasized the importance of connecting emotionally with the pieces we played, which profoundly influenced my teaching philosophy.

• What are your keys to success?

  My keys to success as a teacher are built upon a foundation of passion, dedication, and a student-centered approach:
  
  1. Patience and Understanding : Every student learns at their own pace and in their own way. I strive to be patient and empathetic, providing a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes as part of their learning process.
  
  2. Individualized Instruction : Recognizing that each student is unique, I tailor my teaching strategies to meet their individual needs and learning styles. This personalized approach helps students feel valued and enhances their learning experience. I believe that each student is particular and individual, and it is crucial to consider them individually, adapting lessons to their reality and ambitions. Listening to and understanding their goals and challenges allows me to create a more effective and meaningful learning experience.
