素晴らしい I have really enjoyed my lessons with Alicia so far, she is a wonderful teacher and trys to keep the lessons fun and engaging as possible. It's my first time learning a new language and I am a complete beginner but she is extremely patient and has made me feel very comfortable! Definitely recommend her for all levels!

素晴らしい I had put off finding a Japanese tutor for over a year because I was worried I wouldn’t find someone who’s just as excited about languages as I am, a Japanese native and truly listens to what your needs are rather than deciding ‘they know best’ (amongst other things). Alicia is all of those things and more. I’m at a more advanced level where you already know a lot of the grammar and you’re really trying to fix the little things. I think I had an incredible teacher at school, but Alicia has gone on to show and explain so many things to me in the 2 lessons that we’ve had that I had not once heard in my formal studies - so much makes sense now!! If I’ve managed to grasp so much in 2.5hrs worth of Japanese, then I can’t fully comprehend just how quickly my level of Japanese will sky rocket...
I think if you’ve studied languages for a while you know that most native tutors don’t actually know much about their language linguistically speaking - well, Alicia certainly does! Not just on a basic level, but the really nitty gritty stuff too (which is perfect if you’re a bit of a grammar nerd like me ). She’s clearly a natural at teaching too (coming from a fellow tutor) and really takes time to answer questions, research what she doesn’t know and explains concepts in such a smooth way that doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a boring lecture. Such an easy going & fun personality to be around...I really do feel like I’ve landed on a gold mine here. I couldn’t recommend her more. I truly believe that whatever your needs are she’ll manage with flying colours! Thank you for all your help Alicia x

She makes sure I understand all information and gives a homework based on what You need to practice more.
What I love the most is that she lays emphasis on foundations (writing system, pronunciation, etc.) and she teaches the language from both, cultural and linguistic perspectives.
I am very excited after my first lesson and can't wait to learn more Japanese with her in future.

素晴らしい Classes with Alicia are really informative! I had been doing my own study for a while, but for sure nothing that can compare to how it is taught by someone who really knows. I have so much new knowledge, plus I have been given things to work on. Everything that you're struggling with, she takes her time to evaluate what you need to improve and how to do it and reach your ultimate goals (which she bases her lessons on), an then assigns you exercises to work on it. One of the best decisions I have done to keep learning and get better at my Japanese :)
