大野さんについて

I was born and raised in Tokyo and went to school and university in Tokyo. However, during high school years, I was qualified as exchange student and spent the entire senior year in Delaware, USA, living in Wilmington. In the University of Tokyo, I majored in French and then worked for about 35 years in one of the leargest trading companies, mostly in Tokyo but including 6 years' stint in New York. After retirement I took 420-hour seminar to become Japanese language teacher and passed the qualification exam in 2020. Since then I have been teaching Japanese to foreign residens around my residence in Yokohama.

レッスンについて

With strong backgroud of more than 35 years of working in a large Japanese trading company in Tokyo and New York, I offer online lessons to the students to learn appropriate usage of polite business Japanese. For those aspiring to pass the JLPT exam of all 5 levels, the students can review with me the past exam questions and recieve in-depth explanation of each problems in English. I encourage students to talk at least 70 % of the lesson time in Japanese, including reading aloud the questions and answers , which has proven to be a very effective method toward progress in exam-prepartion purposes.
