I am a master student at Tohoku University. Mako and I are laboratory mate since October 2018.

To tell the truth, I cannot speak the Japanese language when I came to Japan. I tried to learn, but it still so hard for me. Unfortunately, most people in the lab talk in Japanese. I feel lonely because I cannot understand what they said.

Mako is a good person, she is open-minded and friendly. So, I decided to say to Mako that I was lonely. Since that day, Mako always tried to speak in Japanese to me. In order to teach me little by little. I am not good at memorizing words, so many times I asked the same question to her, like "what the meaning of that word". Even she told me several times before.

She taught me patiently, and I feel happy when I am studying Japanese with her.
