Hi there! My name is Kana, and I'm from Japan. I currently live in Kochi and I'm a native Japanese speaker!
I used to work in customer service at an airport, and I also spent a year in Australia on a working holiday, so I can speak a little English. Beginners who are just starting to learn Japanese are more than welcome!
I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where you can enjoy speaking Japanese without worrying about making mistakes. Every lesson is tailored to your level and goals, so you'll learn practical Japanese you can use in daily life or while traveling in Japan. I look forward to meeting you!

My lessons cater to everyone from beginners to advanced learners.
・In the beginner class, we use original lesson plans with illustrations to learn greetings, self-introductions, reading and writing hiragana and katakana, and useful phrases for travel in a fun conversational way!
・In the intermediate class, we focus on getting comfortable with daily conversations by using everyday events and common phrases, so you can keep the conversation going in a fun way!
・In the advanced class, we not only expand your range of expressions but also help you understand the nuances of Japanese culture and context, so you can express yourself in natural Japanese.
I understand how exciting—and sometimes a little nerve-wracking—it can be to learn a new language.
I'll support you at your own pace and create a comfortable environment where you can speak with confidence. Together, we'll build your confidence step by step.
