I am a native Japanese speaker and an experienced Japanese teacher with five years of teaching experience. I completed a 420-hour Japanese language teacher training course, which gave me a strong foundation in Japanese grammar, teaching methods, and lesson planning.
Over the past five years, I have taught Japanese to students of different levels and backgrounds, mainly through one-on-one online lessons. I have experience helping beginners build their basic Japanese skills as well as supporting students who want to improve their grammar and conversation.
I enjoy seeing my students gradually become more confident in Japanese. I always try to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes. I believe that understanding the language clearly makes learning Japanese more enjoyable and motivating

My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, goals, and interests. I especially enjoy teaching beginners and helping them build a strong foundation in Japanese. I can use Genki or other textbooks and guide you through Japanese step by step.
I focus on grammar and explain how and why Japanese expressions are used, so you can understand rather than simply memorize. We can also practice conversation, vocabulary, reading, writing, hiragana, katakana, and kanji.
Whether you are learning Japanese for travel, anime and manga, Japanese culture, or simply because you enjoy the language, I will create lessons that are useful and enjoyable. My lessons are relaxed and supportive, and you can learn at your own pace.
