I have been studying Japanese with Maki-sensei for the past year. Maki is extremely knowledgeable, always kind, and explains everything in a clear and approachable way. Her lessons are enjoyable and relaxed, which has made learning Japanese both fun and stress-free for me.
I highly recommend Maki-sensei’s classes to anyone who is planning a trip to Japan or simply wants to begin learning the language for personal goals. Thanks to Maki-sensei, I’ve been able to enjoy studying Japanese and see real progress in my skills.

I met Maki at university, and we became friends while studying together.
During the Great East Japan Earthquake, we volunteered side by side in the disaster-relief efforts.
Even in difficult situations, she always showed compassion and a genuine desire to help people in need.

Maki is friendly, thoughtful, and always brings positive energy to those around her.
She is kind, warm-hearted, and, even with close friends, she is respectful and polite.
Her sincerity and professionalism make her someone you can truly rely on.

I highly recommend her.
She will be an excellent Japanese tutor and will definitely be a great help to anyone learning the language.

I highly recommend Maki as a Japanese teacher.
She is very easy to talk to and has a warm, friendly personality that makes every lesson enjoyable.
In my case, our lessons mainly focus on speaking practice, and her voice is clear and easy to understand, which really helps my listening skills.

When I make mistakes in word choice or phrasing, she always corrects me in a kind and precise way.
What I really appreciate is that she adjusts the level of her corrections based on my ability — never too difficult, never too simple.

Overall, Maki is a wonderful teacher who creates a relaxed but productive learning environment.
